Hey besties, lets get some workout outfits.
So today, I experienced my very first Pilates class and I must say this is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my entire life.
Before I even stepped into the studio, I did what every girl does, I looked up cute workout outfits that would pass the Pilates vibe check.
For the longest time, I have heard how obsessed the girls are with Pilates and how it does wonders for women’s bodies.
But I did not really get the hype until I experienced it for myself.
This is not just hype: Pilates is the queen of all workouts.
If I had to choose, I would take it 100% over cardio
No wonder they say the Pilates girlies are built differently; now I see why.
If you are serious about glowing up, I am talking full-on transformation; body, spirit, mind, and soul? Then, babe, you need to get into Pilates.
Trust me on this one.
Speaking of glow up, I recently wrote an article on: how to get a smaller waist. You might want to check it out if you are looking to level up your looks without spending your life-savings.
But I digress.
Today’s session had my core firing up, muscles that I didn’t know existed waking up, and even my breathing, thinking, and movement improving like crazy.
Honestly, I feel like I have been reborn. Yes, it is that good.
It’s pilates for life. I don’t care if I am 70, heck I don’t care if I am 80 years old.
I will be doing Pilates as a grandma (except, of course, if old age tells me to sit down on my rocking chair and knit).
Now, since this is my first Pilates session, I didn’t go in with the best workout outfit.
If you’re new to Pilates, opt for workout outfits that are breathable, snug, and don’t shift around during stretches.
So I have been on the hunt; scrolling endlessly online, checking inspo from creators, and checking outfits from online shopping stores.
And I found some gorgeous workout outfits that I have no doubt will look amazing for my upcoming Pilates sessions.
So, I had to share them with you all.
Let’s get into the looks, shall we?
1. Bra Top + Shorts

Shorts // Bra Top // Headband // Shoes // Toning Pilates Ring
So first on the list is this sculpt shorts and bra top.
This is basically the go-to workout outfit for Pilates.
If you are just getting into Pilates, then it should be the first outfit on your radar too.
Pilates can be physically demanding, especially with all the core exercises, reformer machines, and so on. The exercises burn, like a lot.
And the last thing I need is something that feels stiff and restricts my movement.
I read through the description of this fit, and I discovered that it has a four-way stretch fabric that is also very soft.
Now that’s what I’m talking about.
The reviews on this fit are really encouraging. One person said it doesn’t give waist rolls and it is firm without being restrictive.
Another person said it has enough stretch to hold you in and still feel breathable.
I think this is what I would be wearing to my next session (adds to cart)
2. Wrap Top + Bra + Shorts

Bra // Wrap Top // Shorts // Bag // Yoga Mat Towel // Mini Roller
“Omg it’s so pretty!!!” That was the first thing that literally came to my mind when I first came across this outfit.
Honestly, this is one of the most beautiful workout outfits I have seen in a while.
I don’t know if it is the color or the fit or the way it all comes together.
Funny enough, this is actually the same bra and top but this time with a different color and a wrap top.
Actually, I don’t mind them buying them again, but in pink.
The wrap top is what sealed the deal for me, though. It adds a soft, feminine touch to the look.
It pairs so perfectly with the bra top and matching shorts, giving that effortless clean girl vibe that I absolutely adore.
Now, I’m thinking of adding a few dainty jewelry pieces as well; just to bring the whole look to life.
I would also need a big tote bag too.
It doesn’t have to look all fancy, but it has to be practical enough to carry all my essential items like my phone, keys, lip balm, and all that.
Okay, now I am torn between this outfit and the first one I talked about.
I don’t know which to wear for my next session.
3. Jacket + Bra + Shorts

Bra // Jacket // Shorts // Yoga Cushions // Headband
Call it peer pressure, but each Pilates girl I see, whether online or offline, has this exact set and they look spectacular in it.
And so naturally, I am getting it too.
Now, since it is the same color as the second outfit I talked about, I don’t think I will be getting another bra top and shorts.
However, what I will be getting is the long-sleeve jacket to wear over the set.
Actually, the more I think about it, I will alternate both the jacket and wrap top.
On some days, I will wear the bra and short set with the wrap top.
On other days, I will pair the same set with the jacket for a different look.
Same outfit, different styling (nobody’s gonna know).
I know I’m not the only one who feels extra motivated in a good outfit. Pilates is hard enough your workout outfits shouldn’t make it harder.
4. Bra + Flared Leggings

Bra // Leggings // Earrings // Stanely Cup // Scrunchie // Pilates Sliders
This combo is next on my list as one of the must-have workout outfits for Pilates.
Not only is it flattering, but it also gives more support, especially during those intense reformer sessions when your whole body is shaking.
Now, guess which color I will be getting?
If you said the same pink as the one in the image above, then you are absolutely right.
Why? Because it’s super cute and girly.
Also, I will be wearing this set on days when I am using Pilates sliders.
You know, those little round discs that make even the simplest moves feel like a full-body challenge.
They are great for building core strength and mimicking reformer moves when you’re doing mat workouts.
Since this outfit gives just the right amount of stretch and support, it is perfect for days like that.
5. Wrap Top + Bra + Leggings

Wrap Top // Leggings // Bra // Yoga Block
Grey is actually my least favorite color, not that I completely hate it, but I have never been a really huge fan.
After seeing this top and leggings set styled with the wrap top. I have to admit, it actually looks really good.
The color combo is soft, sleek, and would really complement my skin tone.
I really love how leggings sculpt the body.
They would definitely highlight my curves in the most flattering way.
I would also be buying a yoga block.
Yes, a yoga block.
At first, I didn’t really understand the hype.
But now that I used it during my first class, I get it.
It is that one accessory that gives you the support and balance you didn’t even know you needed, especially during stretches when you are not quite flexible enough to reach the floor.
And I am not flexible, so I will definitely be needing one.
I am currently thinking of getting It in the shade pink or pastel.
6. Long Sleeve Top + Bra + Leggings

Long Sleeve Top // Leggings // Water bottle // Socks // Headphones // Recovery Foam Roller
I love all black outfits, so I am definitely buying this without thinking twice
This is actually one of the most put-together workout outfits I have seen in black.
It’s so simple, sleek, and clean.
But girl, let me tell you, I totally underestimated how slippery those reformer machines could get.
l nearly broke my tooth on the first day of my session. So yeah, no more bare feet for me.
Moving forward, for the days that I want a full-on-all-black vibe, I would be pairing this set with some non-slip black socks.
And of course, I am also getting a recovery foam roller to go with this.
After those killer sessions, especially on the reformer, I need something to soothe my muscles and release all the tension in my back and legs.
7. White Top + Bra + Flared leggings

Top // Leggings // Bra // Grip Socks // Long Resistance Band // Sneakers
First off the color combination is fire.
White and espresso? Mwah!
There’s something about slipping into the right workout outfits that makes showing up for Pilates feel a little more luxurious, like you’re not just exercising, you’re romanticizing your routine.
Ok so far so good, I think I will be getting the same outfits, just in different colors.
And for some reason, it makes sense to me.
I have this theory that says “ when something fits right, looks good, and feels good, get it in every shade”.
I can already imagine myself in this workout set with my grip socks.
8. Cross-back Bra + Leggings

Bra // Leggings // Tote Bag // Claw Clip // Pilates ball
This is one of those workout outfits that would be so easy to put together, especially on days when I am running late for my Pilates class.
I could easily throw this on, grab my tote bag and I’m out the door.
I love that cross-back design on the bra, I feel like it is going to give my back that extra support it needs, especially during swan dive or swan prep exercises (you know those exercises that make you question your existence).
I am saving this for when I start seeing the results on my back.
Yes, I want to show off, after all I have put in the work, so why not?
9. Contour Top + Leggings

Leggings // Top // Claw Clip // Earrings // Short Loop Bands
The boning on this outfit is EVERYTHING!
I actually found this outfit while I was searching for Pilates accessories.
The girls on TikTok were going crazy about this one brand.
So of course, I had to check them out, especially with all the hype they were getting.
Initially, I only planned to get their Pilates essential kit.
But then I stumbled on this set and I knew I had to buy it.
Look at the contour on the top; this would have my bust looking nice and lifted.
And leggings will make my bum look perf and keep my tummy in place.
I am so buying this, this has to be in my shopping cart right now.
10. One-Shoulder Top + Leggings

Top // Leggings // Earrings // Fitness Tracker // Dumbbell Set
Love me some one-shoulder top.
It is chic, flexible and still gives the support I need during my exercises.
This is also something I can throw on too when I’m running late.
Pilates isn’t just a workout, it’s a lifestyle. And your workout outfits should reflect that soft, minimal, elevated energy.
It gets a YES from me.
11. Sculpted Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit // Yoga Mat // Yoga Mat Strap // Headband
I have to admit this store definitely has some unique workout sets.
This jumpsuit is giving me life, I am obsessed.
This is my favorite outfit on this list and I know my body will look banging in it.
I can already picture it styled with a white or coffee brown headband and my yoga mat.
Would definitely be pulling off this outfit on days when I am in the mood to dress up more for class.
12. Grey Bra + Leggings

Bra // Leggings // Bangles // Face Cap // Sneakers // Double massage ball
This one is perfect for those very rigorous workout sessions.
You know the kind that feel like your bones are about to say “toodles” and clock out on you.
I’m talking about those exercises that feel like you are about to sweat out every last drop of water in your body.
Yeah that!
So for this outfit, I’m thinking: white sneakers, face cap, and some weight bracelets to take things up a notch.
These bangles don’t just look cute, they add just the right amount of resistance to help tone your arms while you move.
I would probably get some AirPods too, because music is the only thing that can distract my mind and body from the chaos I am putting it through.
13. Cami + Shorts

Cami // Shorts // Sneakers // Massage Balls
And last but not least, I have this pink cami with shorts.
This is one of those workout outfits that will be perfect for sunny morning classes when I want to feel light, sporty, and still look cute.
It is so flattering, especially on days when I want something breathable but still snatched.
And speaking of feeling good, I’m thinking of adding a massage ball to my Pilates kit too.
Because those early sessions can have your muscles screaming for help.
A massage ball is like giving yourself a mini deep-tissue massage.
I can just roll it under my back, glutes, or feet right after class to ease the tension on those areas.
Best Workout Outfits for Pilates Beginners
So that’s all I have to share with you for today.
Bookmark this if you’re planning your next pilates or yoga class and need workout outfits that don’t just look cute but actually support your flow.
Girl, I already can feel my bank account crying for help.
At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if I got a call from the bank asking if I was being scammed.
Because the amount of money that’s about to leave my account is wild.
But as long as it is Pilates, I am ready to spend my whole savings and even my rent.
Okay, maybe not my rent because a pretty girl can’t be out here homeless.
Either way, I am super satisfied with all these picks and I seriously can’t wait to have them delivered.
By the way, do you have any favorites from this list?
For me, I would say the open back jumpsuit stole my heart.
What about you? Let me know in the comments.
