It’s the nearly mid year and you haven’t achieved your goals yet. Girl, grab a pen and a notebook! You might want to look into how to write a manifest list for the life you want.
When you decide that you want to manifest your dreams into reality, the first step is to create a manifestation list.
A manifestation list is a powerful tool for getting what you want out of life. In this blog post, I will discuss step by step methods you can use to create an effective manifestation list that can help you to manifest your dream life.
What Is Manifestation?
Manifestation gets a bad rap.
And I blame the manifestation trend on social media, because it’s probably led you to believe that if you just think about your desires, you will be able to manifest it fast in 3 days!
That’s just not how it works.
You’ve probably heard of manifestation and thought it was woo-woo or maybe even witchcraft.
Manifestation is simply the act of intentionally creating your desires and intentions into reality through focused thoughts, actions, and beliefs.
Manifestation And The Law Of Attraction
Manifesting is often associated with the law of attraction, which suggests that your thoughts and emotions, whether negative or positive can attract corresponding experiences and outcomes in your life.
That’s what the popular quote by Wayne Dyer means ” You don’t attract what you want, you attract who you are“.
So how exactly does manifestation work?
The thing about manifestation and the law of attraction is that IT IS ALWAYS WORKING whether you believe it or not.
The energy you put out into the universe attracts similar energy back to you.
So be conscious of your thoughts, because they affect how you feel and will inherently affect your actions.
For manifestation to really work your vibration needs to be high to attract things on a similar wavelength or frequency.
Think of when tuning to a specific radio station, you are adjusting the frequency of your radio to match the frequency of the station’s broadcast signal otherwise it won’t work. That’s exactly how manifestation works!
If you want more context on how this plays out in real life read the manifestation book, The Secret or if you aren’t much of a reader you can watch the documentary.
How To Write A Manifest List
Step 1 : Be Specific
Get clear on what it is that you want.
If you want to manifest love, you need to be specific on what exactly you are looking for. If you are not specific, you will will get love but it could be love from a cat, your family or from strangers.
So get clear. Is this the type of person that flosses at night? What is their idea of fun? What are your favourite things to do together? Do they have qualities about them that you just can’t stop talking to your friends about? How do they make you feel?
Have everything about them down to the tiniest detail. You’re probably going to say “No one is perfect” and “I possibly can’t get everything on my manifest list”, but there are so many manifestation examples of people who have successfully done this.
In 1985, Jim wrote himself a $10-million check for “acting services rendered, dated it 10 years in the future. Amazingly, he was able to cash a check years later after being cast in the lead of 1994’s Dumb and Dumber for the exact same amount!
Step 2 : Visualise your dream life
What does a day in your dream life look like?
Visualisation helps you to bring you shifts your reality, as if it is already happening.
Go on Pinterest, create a board with some ideas of the things you want.
You want to embody the feelings of what you would feel like when what you’ve already have possession of all the things you want. Whether it be a house, car, a new job, a dog, a fashion item, mindset, the perfect boyfriend, good health.
To make it more real for you – change your environment and position yourself in places that will make your dreams believable.
Drive past the house that you want, go test drive the car, look the part, have coffee at a luxury cafe. How would you feel if you were in that position. Who are you when you manifest this person? What version of yourself do you have to be to manifest (thing you want here)?
You have to be in alignment with what you want. Feel as though you already have it, you can use the law of assumptions affirmations as well to step into your lucky girl era ✨
Step 3: Choose A Method for Manifestation Writing
Instead of just wishing for things to happen, write them down as if they’ve already come to fruition. This works because the subconscious mind is reprogrammed with repetition.
Get creative with your scripting, use vivid descriptions to fully immerse yourself in the experience. You can also try some manifestation writing methods.
333 – The 333 manifestation method includes choosing what you want to manifest, create an affirmation around it. Then write it down thirty three times and repeat the process again for three days.
369 – The 369 method involves writing down what you’d like to manifest three times in the morning, six times during the day, and nine times in the evening.
555 – Similar to the 333 manifest method list, the 555 manifestation method requires that you write down what you want in the form of manifestations affirmations fifty five times per day over the next 5 days.
10-10-10 – Write the 10 things that you desire. Write 10 things you are grateful for. Write down 10 things that bring you joy.
Step 4: Be Grateful For It As If It’s Already Happened
It’s easy to get caught up in wishing and hoping, but the real magic happens when you genuinely feel gratitude for what you’ve asked the universe for.
Do not skip this step, this is a very important step.
The reason you need to feel grateful is because gratitude shifts your negative thoughts to positive and instantly puts you in a higher vibrational state, where you are more open to receiving. The one way to cultivate this feeling is by making a gratitude list.
Write down everything that you are thankful for, including your manifestation. Imagine what it would feel like for it to have already come true, and let that feeling wash over you.
Gratitude is a powerful tool that can help speed up the manifestation process, so remember to give thanks and embody the energy of already having what you desire.
Step 5: Write An Action Plan
Okay, let’s talk about taking action! This is usually the hardest part for a lot of people and where most will fail. If you believe in your dreams, you are going to take action.
We can all dream big and hope for the best, if that was all you needed to manifest, a lot of people would be living the life of their dreams. If we don’t take aligned action towards our goals, then those dreams will stay in dreams forever.
Break down your dreams into small, achievable steps, and take aligned action. Set some SMART goals that are personalised to your own aspirations. For example, if your dream is to write a book, you can start by writing for 30 minutes every day.
And here’s the kicker: make sure you reflect on your progress each week. Did you hit your goals on your weekly intention? If not, it’s okay, just move them to the next week and keep on truckin’!
Remember, timing is everything, so set those weekly deadlines and be very DEAD SERIOUS about meeting them.
Examples and Ideas of a Manifest List
If my goal was to become the woman of my dreams, these are the ideas I would include on my manifest life. You can also apply it to whatever dream or goal you have. Remember that you have to become the person, to take the action and then you can manifest what you want.
These examples might be different from what you need, but the key is to write down what you want to achieve and create a manifest list that is specific and detailed as possible, even more specific than the example shown.
Ideas of what to add to your manifest list include:
- A new car
- A new job
- A raise at work
- A new home
- A trip to a desired destination
- Improved health
- Financial abundance
- Better relationships
- More free time
- Increased happiness
Bonus Tips For Using The Manifest List
1. Ask for the life that you want
Ask and you shall receive.
Keeping praying to your higher power and ask the universe for the life you want. It can help you focus your energy and intentions towards specific goals, and can also help you feel to surrender to a higher power.
2. Focus on what you want
Try to stay away from complaining, being the victim or really anything that does not serve you. What you place your attention on, continues to grow in your life.
Focus on creating what you want by actively thinking and talking about it like it’s already happening even if your reality is telling you something totally different.
It’s only a matter of time before your external reality starts to shift and play catch up to your internal reality. It’s the law of correspondence.
3. Be-Do-Have
So much about manifesting isn’t about the fancy cars, the trips and the new home you get.
It’s mostly about who you become in the process.
Think about the person you will have to be to manifest the life that you want. What type of action does she take on a daily basis? You literally have to become that person. This is a must for manifestation to happen because you cannot trick the universe. What you put in is what you’ll get.
4. The Language matters
When writing your manifest list, use positive, specific and present-tense language. For example, instead of writing “I want to be healthy.” Write down “I am healthy.”
You can use the same technique in your gratitude list as well, write the things you are thankful for that hasn’t happened in the present. For example, instead of writing “I am so thankful that I am on the path to making six figures.” “Write I am grateful for making $100,000 every month.”
See the difference. It doesn’t matter if it didn’t happen, your mind wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Soon enough, you will take the much needed action on making it happen.
5. Read it Daily
Read your manifest list daily before bed and in the morning when you wake up.
Reading it daily can help you stay focused on your goals and motivate you to take action towards achieving them.
It can also remind you of the life you say you want when things get hard or challenging and you are close to quitting.
6. Believe it will happen
Trust the process.
Trusting the process can delay your need to have instant gratification, increase your faith, and ultimately reach your desired outcome.
It requires focusing on small steps and progress that you are making rather than just the end result. Have faith in your journey and be patient with the outcome.
7. Do scary things
Your brain will try to keep you safe. It’s easier to opt for things that feel familiar to who you’ve been. But, if you want to change your life you can’t keep doing the same things. If it ain’t scary, you ain’t doing manifestation right!
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there, you really have to challenge yourself and do really scary and uncomfortable things if you want to create your dream life.

8. Don’t chase
Be Patient. You don’t plant a seed and keep checking to see if it’s grown overnight. Do your part and surrender the rest to the universe.
Be mindful of your thoughts and feelings about what you are manifesting.
Don’t chase or give off desperate energy. Fixate on the excitement, joy and abundance you have as if it’s already happening.
