What Is A Vision Board?
A vision board is a visual collage of your goals and aspirations. It can help you stay focused on what you want, and consequently with the Law of attraction, attract more abundance into your life.
It typically consists of a collection of images, words, phrases, and sometimes affirmations that reflect the things you want in life.
The purpose of a vision board is to help you clearly define your goals and you help you stay focused on the path to getting there.
Ideas On What To Put In A Vision Board
I watched this movie once called Last Holiday, and in the movie she created a vision book called the book of possibilities. This woman, a customer service clerk who is also an aspiring chef, but was too scared to take chances, made a book of the things she wanted to do or could do in her life if she had the chance.
This book had pictures of places she’d like to go, people she would like to meet and her future husband. Anyways, without writing spoilers, her book of possibilities ended up becoming her book of memories! It was such a phenomenal movie!
So let’s explore some vision board ideas on what to put on your vision book or board.
You Most Definitely Have To Read: How To Write A Manifest List With Examples
Career goals
Start by creating a list of your specific short-term and long-term goals (on a separate planner) and find images, words, or phrases that represent them.
If you aim to be a model or your want to start your own business, you could write words like “I am a successful business owner” or “I am a professional model” on your vision board and find pictures that represent the type of career you want.
Money Goals
Do you have an idea on what type of money you want to make? Maybe you do but your money stories make you feel like it is impossible.
Write it down, it has to be a specific amount and you have to write down how you intend on getting it.
Jim Carey wrote a check to himself for a specific amount of $10,000,000 for acting services rendered dating it 10 years into the future – he had so much faith in it that he carried it everywhere he went.
Shockingly, 10 years later he received the exact same amount for Dumb and Dumber.
This is the law of assumption in action.
Relationship Goals
This was something I used to overlook in my vision board because I never thought to put it in.
Creating a vision of what you want your dream man or woman to be/have/do is the best way to manifest the love of your life and to save you from wasting a lot of time on people you’re not compatible with.
Do you want to be married? Is having kids important to you? What qualities are you looking for?
Also, remember that your relationship goals could also include family and friends not just romantic partners.
Health

Other vision board pictures you can include can be motivational affirmations, before and after body transformations, workouts etc. These vision board ideas not only keeps health priorities in check but also serves as a source of encouragement towards a happier, healthier you.
Leisure/Hobbies
One thing I am definitely prioritising this year is rest! We can sometimes feel undeserving of rest, because we place so much value in being productive. Give yourself permission to rest without feeling guilty because rest is productive.
So to embrace your soft girl era, you may want to look into feminine hobbies you want to try, you may in even want to plan more trips and staycations this year.
The leisure side of your vision board is an opportunity to add some excitement to your life and tick some stuff on your bucket list!
Personal development
What type of person do you want to become by the end of the year? Maybe you want to work on your confidence, social skills, learn a new language or you want to develop your style.
Get very clear on the type of personal development goal you want to achieve.
Use vision board pictures that represent your goals – could be inspirational books, podcasts, role models, activity pictures etc. This visualisation becomes a daily prompt to get you out of your comfort zone and into your path to self transformation.

How To Make A Vision Board For Manifestation 2025
The process of making a vision board involves:
- Identify What Your Goals Are: Determine what you want to achieve within the next year in different areas of your life.
- Collect Images and Words: Gather images, phrases, words, and affirmations that resonate with your goals. These can be from magazines, Pinterest, or you can even get creative. I have been having a lot of fun with the shuffles app lately and have created some cute phone wallpapers.
- Assemble: If you are doing this physically, organise the vision board pictures exactly the way you want them, take a photo of it so you don’t forget the placement. Stick the collected images and words onto a board in a way that feels meaningful and inspiring to you.
- Placement and Display: Place your vision board in a location where you’ll see it frequently—this could be in your room, office, or any space where you spend significant time. If you do a digital vision board, do a version for your phone or your desktop so you see it daily.
- Reflection and Action: Spend a few moments each day reflecting on your vision board. Visualise your goals as if they’ve already been achieved. Use it as a motivational tool to take action towards your aspirations.
