If you’re interested in learning how to be more feminine, you want to decide what being feminine means to you after reading this article.

Femininity is not a one size fits all.

However there are a few things you could start doing today to be more feminine and soft in your energy.

All women are feminine by nature, but circumstances like trauma can cause a woman to be blocked in her feminine and rely on her masculine shield to keep her safe.

Being more feminine is an inside job that starts from healing both the masculine and feminine energy before you can radiate divine feminine energy and live the soft life that you were designed to live.

You can also begin to embody the grace and elegance often associated with femininity by working on your feminine appearance.

This article will cover how to train yourself to be more feminine, how to be more feminine and soft in a relationship and how to be more feminine in your energy (this is the inner healing work I mentioned earlier).

Being More Feminine And Soft

Living a soft life in a male-dominated hustle culture society can be challenging, especially if you are the breadwinner and provider that is responsible for yourself and or your family.

Part of being feminine and soft is to not being hyper-independent. I’m an advocate of women making their own money but not at the expense of their self care.

The truth is, women aren’t built like men, our bodies can only take so much stress and burnout, as that could lead to other health issues like weight gain, depression and even fertility issues.

It can be challenging to live a soft life when you are in hustle mode but it can be achievable with the right strategies such as setting boundaries, planning, prioritising self-care, and focusing on using your personal strengths to make a living.

It is important to remember that living a soft life does not mean giving up ambition or success, but rather finding a balance that prioritises well-being and fulfilment. The irony is that when we give ourselves the permission to rest we are more productive and manifest our desires easily.

How To Train Yourself To Be More Feminine

1. Dress more Feminine

The way you dress can have a big impact on your mood and how feminine you feel. Opt for clothing that accentuates your curves and flatters your body shape.

Dresses, skirts, and blouses are great options. Bright colours, choice in fabrics, prints and florals can also add a feminine touch to your wardrobe.

Practise walking in heels and don’t be afraid to accessorise with jewellery, scarves, and belts to complete your look.

2. Don’t Neglect Your Grooming

Taking care of your body is an important part of feeling more feminine. Keep your body hair groomed and moisturised.

Keep your face groomed to look more feminine – thread your brows, get your lashes done, get a facial. Don’t neglect your skin care routine.

Your hair should also be well-groomed and styled in a way that complements your features.

3. Be Mindful Of Your Posture

Feminine body language and posture can help you exude confidence and grace. Walk slightly faster and keep your shoulders back and your head held high.

Around 90% of communication is non verbal, so pay attention to your body language, tone and facial expressions in social situations, and try to cultivate a warm and inviting attitude.

4. Feminine Etiquette and Manners

As a feminine woman, it’s important to present yourself with grace and poise. Good manners and etiquette can help you achieve this. Here are some tips:

  • Always greet people with a smile and be polite.
  • Use proper table manners when dining with others.
  • Be respectful of others’ personal space and boundaries.
  • Speak softly and avoid gossiping or using profanity.
  • Write thank you notes when appropriate.

5. Make Fitness A Habit

Exercise is a great feminine hobby to stay active and a way to make your body look more feminine.

You can grow your glutes to accentuate a curvier physique, even if you weren’t blessed with a curvaceous figure. I’ve seen it happen so many times and no you don’t need to go under the knife, you just need a meal plan and consistency.

Focus on full body exercises to tone your body, if you want to grow your curves focus on exercises such as squats and lunges. If working out at the gym isn’t really your thing, try dancing or swimming instead to burn those calories!

6. Wear The Right Colours

Choosing the right colors can help you look more presentable. Colours come in different shades, tones and tints. Understanding how colour works on your skin tone will transform your appearance and will save you tons of $$$ from buying clothes all the time.

7. Embrace Your Curves

I personally used to struggle with this. I would wear huge layers of clothing to hide my feminine frame because it was much easier to hide my body than to deal with the unwanted attention that came with just letting my body be.

I don’t know if you can relate.

But embracing your body is an important part of being more confident and feminine.

Focus on taking care of your body, it’s purpose extends beyond pleasure and child bearing. Remember that we all have different bodies, so never compare your body with another woman.

8. Put Your Self First

Self-care is an essential aspect of being more feminine. Taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental health will help you radiate feminine energy.

You can practice self-care by getting enough sleep, setting boundaries, writing down your goals, doing things you love, eating a healthy diet, journaling and engaging in physical activities that you enjoy. You can also seek professional help if you are struggling with mental health issues.

Practise being more vulnerable in your relationships. If you are in your wounded feminine, it can be incredibly healing when you start trusting the masculine again, but you have to also use your feminine intuition to discern who is worthy of your trust.

10. Be Soft and Gentle In Communication

Effective communication is crucial in healthy relationships. Feminine communication involves using a soft and gentle tone, being empathetic and compassionate, and being an active listener.

You can also practice using open body language and eye contact to convey your message effectively. Avoid being overly aggressive, demanding or controlling to get your own way.

11. See yourself as the prize

When a woman sees herself as the prize, she conditions a man to treat her that way. Men can easily pick up on whether you see yourself as the prize by the way you treat yourself.

When you see yourself as the prize you don’t settle for poor treatment just to say you have somebody, you simply just walk away.

Seeing yourself as the prize involves putting yourself up on a pedestal, and no you don’t have to be stereotypically beautiful to do this, you just have to know your worth and stand by it, regardless of how other people treat you.

12. Have your own life

It’s very simple. Having a life that you absolutely love, with your own goals, dreams, hobbies, friends is what makes a woman attractive to a man. I know how tempting it is to want to give up doing things you love just because you started dating someone you really like.

But don’t give up on those feminine hobbies just yet! You need them to feel whole and confident.

The woman who has her own life is more attractive to a man because she isn’t giving off desperate or needy vibes, this is where a woman usually will start to chase a man. If you want to be more feminine and soft in a relationship, have your own life.

13. Allow Men To Take The lead

A simple tip on how to be more feminine and soft in a relationship is to always and I mean ALWAYS allow men to take the lead. Allow men to initiate proposals, plan dates, make future arrangements and to lead the relationship.

A healthy masculine man will have no issue leading the relationship. You can either inspire him with your femininity to step up his game or he’ll lose interest, either way stay being your feminine self.

14. Learn To Say No

Setting boundaries is key too being a more feminine woman. When you learn to say no, you prioritise your needs and your self care over societal expectations and the needs of everyone around you.

It can be quite burdensome for a woman to be constantly bombarded with the needs of others and energy vampires alike, while giving ourselves very little. Sometimes we can give so much of ourselves and still feel like we aren’t doing enough or even appreciated.

Practise saying no in other relationships too, say no to extra work at your workplace, say no to things you are genuinely not interested in. A woman who learns to say no is a woman who has a chance at living a soft life.

15. Don’t feel Guilty About Receiving Or Asking For What You Want

Feminine energy is all about receiving and the masculine energy takes pride in giving in a healthy relationship dynamic. If you have trouble feeling guilty about asking for things, it just reflects that you feel unworthy of receiving and you need to ask yourself why that is.

Look at it this way, men have no issues asking you for what they want, so why should you? And this goes for other relationships too.

Start with the little things, ask your man to help with an Uber ride home, beauty treatments etc. Men are supposed to make your life easier just by being in it, a healthy masculine man wants nothing more than to see that his woman is comfortable and happy.

16. Bring Out Your Playful Side

Flirting can be a fun and playful way that you can be more feminine. Here are some tips:

  • Make eye contact, smile and laugh (only if you find it funny).
  • Use body language to show interest, such as leaning in or playing with your hair.
  • Be confident in yourself, but also respect others’ boundaries.
  • Tease, compliment, or initiate conversation to show interest.
  • Flirting should be subtle not aggressive.
  • Learn to read verbal cues, misreading or ignoring signals can lead to embarrassment.

17. Work On Your Confidence

Develop your confidence as a woman to stand in your feminine power.

When you are confident, you radiate feminine energy, which is attractive and magnetic. To boost your confidence, you can start by setting small achievable goals and celebrating your accomplishments.

You can also practice positive self-talk, repeat positive affirmations, and surround yourself with positive people who uplift and support you.

Confidence is the belief in yourself and knowing that you have control over your life.

18. Get rid of Toxic People or Drama

Toxic people can poke holes in your aura, this can affect your ability to manifest the things you want out of life. Having toxic drama filled people in your life can not only lower your self esteem, it can put you in a fight or flight mode (masculine ) and it can also block your blessings.

This is the number advice you should take away on how to be more feminine – surround yourself with people who bring you peace and calm your nervous system.

19. Set Goals and standards for yourself

Write down what you want. Write down your goals, create a manifest list on the type of life, money, relationships, career, body you want and work towards it and leave all distractions behind.

Do not negotiate your standards with anyone. Have the faith to wait on what you want.

20. Live authentically

When you live authentically, you free yourself to live for yourself and not others and how else can we be our authentic feminine self if we continue to live according to the expectations of others.

This is your life, you get to decide the type of feminine woman you want to be, what your idea of a soft life is, how you want to romanticize your life. People can easily tell when you are trying so hard to be something that you are not, you’re better off just being yourself as no one really likes a people pleaser.

To live authentically, you can also experiment with different forms of self-expression, such as clothing, makeup, and hairstyles, to find what makes you feel most confident and true to who you are.

21. Love Yourself

And lastly, loving yourself is really how we can heal ourselves from within to become more feminine. When you love yourself, you naturally radiate feminine energy.

Loving yourself really becomes about you wanting to work to be better for yourself not anyone else, because you truly believe that you deserve better.

You ever seen the girls that love themselves wholeheartedly? Can we all agree how magnetic and attractive they are? From how they dress, to how they talk, you can just tell that they are in love with themselves and their life!
